OVERVIEW | This is the 2007 vintage Benromach single malt Scotch whisky which has been initially matured in bourbon barrels for 6 years, before being transferred over to casks which previously held wine from the Hermitage Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée for 31 months. |
TASTING NOTES | Nose: Plum and dark chocolate up first, followed by a hint of mint. Palate: Herb-topped crusty bread rolls underneath more chocolate and fresh fruit notes. Finish: A slow rumble of smoke with a touch of orange peel tucked away. |
