|OVERVIEW||A limited edition release of Timorous Beastie from Douglas Laing, made exclusively with whiskies aged for at least 10 years. Timorous Beastie is part of the Remarkable Regional Malts range, and is made with malt whiskies from various distilleries in the Highlands region. The name itself is a nod to Scotland's favourite son, Robert Burns.|
Nose: Roasted almond, maple syrup, fresh cedar, fudge and sponge cake.
Palate: Chewy apricot and butters scones. A hint of mineral-y smoke develops, but never quite comes to the fore.
Finish: Elegantly spicy on the finish, with honey and yellow plum lingering.
