Distilled at one of the youngest distilleries in Japan which was founded in 2004 by Ichiro Akuto and has been operational since 2008, being the first new distillery in Japan since 1973. This release is a return of the distillery's peated expression following a 4 year hiatus. It is crafted from peated malt whisky that was put down to mature in oak for an undisclosed length of time. Part of a limited release of 11,000 bottles, this whisky has been bottled free from chill filtration and artificial colourings at a strength of 53.5% abv.
