Released to celebrate the distillery's 200th anniversary in 2015, this Laphroaig was aged for 32 years in ex-oloroso-sherry casks. An intensely fruity and peaty whisky that's simply stunning for its age.
NOSE
Reminiscent of Christmas fruit cake, the rich sherry sweetness and aroma of caramelised brown sugar are predominant.
PALATE
The dark bitter chocolate follows through to the palate with nutmeg and intense spicy, oakiness.
FINISH
Dry, long and lingering sherried-oak finish.
