| OVERVIEW | An 81 proof (40.5%ABV) bourbon crafted by Wild Turkey associate distiller Eddie Russell, son of master distiller Jimmy. It's a high rye mash matured in heavily charred casks for big flavour at a more approachable ABV than the 101. |
| TASTING NOTES | NOSE Soft, with sweet raisins, cinnamon, toffee popcorn and a touch of black pepper. There’s also rich sweetness in the form of vanilla, honey and caramelised bananas. PALATE Nice and spicy, with clove and nutmeg perking up the honeyed fruit. Not too sweet (a good thing) and a good, solid punch of spicy fruit. FINISH The soft honey and vanilla notes sit well with the spice. |
