This was distilled at the Tamnavulin distillery in Speyside in December of 1991 before ageing for 18 years in a refill hogshead. Bottled for the Old Malt Cask range in April 2010, a release of 334 bottles.
Nose: Buttery, malty sweetness. Pipe tobacco, good sweetness, dried fruit, stem ginger.
Palate: Opens on fresh floral, malty notes, then develops into stewed fruits and spices. Caramel and sherry too.
Finish: Long and supple with sweet, gentle spices and light smoke.
